WELCOME ALICIA DUJETS
Alicia Dujets is an illustrator and designer based out of northern New Jersey. She earned her MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay at the School of Visual Arts and a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Alicia started working in the quilting industry in 2012 as a designer for QT Fabrics where she also co-created the sub-brand Ink & Arrow Fabrics. She went on to do freelance work for Michael Miller Fabrics while working full time as a product designer for Phillip Jeffries, a leader in the luxury wallcovering industry. As a side project she also led the Eco team at Phillip Jeffries, where she implemented company-wide sustainable practices, coordinated clean up hikes around the state of New Jersey, and did the legwork to start their journey to work towards carbon neutrality.
In addition to textile design, she loves anything that gives her the opportunity to be creative – from embroidery and needlepoint, to writing HTML. Beyond making art, she always enjoys a fierce game of backgammon or scrabble and is currently accepting applications for new opponents.
In her role at P&B Textiles she will be responsible for fostering relationships with licensors and design houses, selecting and developing artwork for seasonal launches, overseeing all projects from conception to completion, and managing the design team to ensure the seasonal timelines are being closely followed.
